Recreational Therapist
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 in home and community based Recreation Therapy to individuals with disabilities.
- Safely transport clients to and from their homes and other community settings.
- Work with families and other therapists to create goals and objectives that address the needs and deficits of each client.
- Implement Aquatic Therapy sessions in home and community based aquatic settings.
- Submit documentation including weekly invoicing, progress notes, quarterly reports, and related paperwork.
- Complete reports and forms in accordance with Lanai Therapies, LLC policies.
- Conduct initial in home evaluations and complete corresponding assessment forms.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, families, caregivers, caseworkers, co-workers and community members.
- Proficient in Microsoft word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.
Job Requirements: (all licenses, certifications, insurance and documents must be current).
- Current NCTRC certification as Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist.
- Social Security Card and valid Driver's License.
- Auto Insurance (with 100/300/100 coverage minimum).
- Professional Liability Insurance (with $1 million/$3 million coverage limit).
- Successfully complete Criminal Background Check and Medicaid Fraud Check.
Required Education, Licenses and Certifications:
- Minimum of Bachelor's Level Degree required in one of the following: Therapeutic Recreation, Recreation Administration with emphasis in Therapeutic Recreation, Leisure Studies with emphasis in Therapeutic Recreation, and/or related degree to Therapeutic Recreation.
- CPR/AED/FIRST AID Certification (American Red Cross or American Heart Association only). Recertification required bi-annually.
- Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS).
Additional Preferred Certifications:
- CPI or SAMA Certified, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention/PMAB Certified.
- Water Safety Instruction, Basic Water Rescue, Lifeguard Instruction.
Massage Therapist
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 in home Massage Therapy to individuals with disabilities.
- Work with families to create goals and objectives that address the needs and deficits of each client.

- Complete reports and forms in accordance with Lanai Therapies, LLC policies.

Music Therapist
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support the unique care needs of the client through an individualized patient plan of care.
- Assess and provide individualized music therapy consultations and services to the patient in accordance with the interdisciplinary plan of care while following all Lanai Therapies policies and procedures.
- Develop individualized music therapy plan of care by completing the music therapy assessment with patient and family when referred in accordance with the interdisciplinary plan of care.
- Utilize independent discretion during patient evaluation and guide the patient in the use of creative therapeutic activities for the purpose of improving or maintaining mental and physical function and quality of life.
- Develop music therapy goals using various genres and methodologies.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of music therapy services with the patient though progress notes and goal writing .

- Board Certified Music Therapist certification
